About the Author
J. J. Hansen is a storyteller with the spirit of a pioneer, the brain of her lawyer father, and the social graces of her mother. Born and raised in the Midwest, she studied English Writing at Drake University where she published her first essay “Strolling through a Semester in Spain” in Periphery Art and Literary Magazine. After graduation, she moved to East Tennessee and, in August of 2017, published her first book, The Lavender Envelope. She still spends her time adventuring in the mountains, swing dancing in the city, and listening to stories around the dinner table.
